Her team is looking to make an immediate impact with its summer initiative aimed at helping youth in the Palmer Park Community launch summer neighborhood-centric businesses.
Summer Youth Entrepreneurial Initiative
HEAR hosted its first Youth Entrepreneur Event on April 6, 2019. The 3 hour event saw the HEAR team work with a dozen youth from the Greater Palmer Park Community to begin development of small business ideas. The youth in attendance also had an opportunity to interact with 10 year old London. London is the CEO of London Inc. She shared the details of her journey from having an idea to creating her products to successful sales and happy customers. Also presenting key points on entrepreneurship, business ideas and financial management were local Real Estate Phenom, Author, and Financial Coach Wanda Russell, and Financial Manager, Rodney Griffin both of whom are an integral part of the HEAR team which also includes Min. Tawana Twitty, Mitrell Sanders, Dr. LaKeyetta Reed, and Aaron C. Butler.
